Thanks to its meticulous design, the Sherpa electric blanket reduces heat loss from the human body by up to 5% by preventing cold air from penetrating between its fine pores. In comparison, conventional blankets can only reduce heat loss from the human body by 10 to 15%.

The Sherpa blanket effectively maintains the body temperature at 37 °C +/- 0.3 °C. It feels like it increases the temperature of the body exposed to a cold environment by 3 to 5 °C.

Apart from the fact that warmth is an individually subjective feeling, the heating wires of the blanket can of course conduct heat more slowly under certain circumstances.

Make sure the temperature is set to the desired level. Allow the blanket to preheat for 15 to 20 minutes, especially in cold rooms. Make sure the blanket is flat and wrinkle-free and placed under an additional blanket to better retain heat. Check that the cable connections are properly connected.

It is important that the blanket itself must have been delivered either damaged or faulty in order for your order to be eligible for a refund or exchange. Despite the greatest care and effort in producing this blanket, we cannot completely rule out the occurrence of minor manufacturing defects. Statistically, such minimal deviations occur again and again in the production of textiles, but in an extremely small percentage.
