With a total weight of approximately 400 g/m², the blanket offers a high material density, making it high-quality, durable, and beautifully insulating without causing overheating. The thick, soft texture also protects against drafts.

Thanks to its meticulous design, the Sherpa blanket reduces heat loss from the human body by up to 3% by preventing cold air from penetrating between its fine pores. In comparison, conventional blankets can only reduce heat loss from the human body by 10 to 15%.

The Sherpa blanket effectively maintains the body temperature at 37 °C +/- 0.3 °C. It feels like it increases the temperature of the body exposed to a cold environment by 3 to 5 °C.

The Sherpa blanket has been specially developed to minimize the risk of lint. To ensure that the blanket remains lint-free over a longer period of time, please follow the following care instructions:

1. Follow washing instructions : Always wash the blanket according to the instructions provided. It is machine washable but it is important to use a gentle cycle at a low temperature. Do not use bleach or fabric softener as these can damage the fibers and increase pilling.

2. Tumble dry on low heat : Tumble dry on low heat below 40°C or let it air dry. Too high temperatures can roughen the fibers and cause pilling.

3. Daily care : Avoid bringing the blanket into contact with rough materials or objects to prevent wear and tear and the formation of lint. Regular shaking can also help remove loose dust and fibers.

4. Storage : Store the blanket in a dry and clean place to keep away from dust and dirt that could damage the fibers.

The Sherpa blanket has been dyed using non-toxic solutions and its inner fabric is woven from recycled microfiber. It therefore meets two of the most important success criteria to be certified according to the OEKO-TEX 100 standard.
